Individual Homes for Special People
Harvester Homes builds you a home that you will be proud of. At
last it is possible to buy a new home with all the modern niceties
that has been constructed to include many period features. Deep
profile solid oak beams are placed strategically across
the ceilings of most ground floor reception rooms. Each Home has
a red brick feature fireplace creating a centre piece to The Living
room. Built to a class one specification the chimney flue can accommodate
a multi fuel or gas fired log burner.
The
red brick hearth of the Inglenook firelace is surrounded by traditional
pine flooring finished in a mid stain and bees wax.
This gives a comforting spring and period look to the floor which
is also laid through the dining room and study. Entrance hall,
Wc,
Kitchen and Utility room floors are available in Terracotta as
standard but as our valued customer we are always happy to accommodate
any
other option. Unless requested otherwise all our Homes are strip
pine boarded throughout the first floor with the same mid stain
and bees wax that matches the finish of the deep moulded ogee skirtings
and architraves. Whilst enjoying the natural wood finish the waxed
look is extremely low maintenance and any knocks or marks just
add
to that authentic look.
Recognising
just how important a part of the home the kitchen is Harvester
Homes
pay much attention to its design and layout. Some customers have
always dreamt of having an AGA, a double range stove, or an oak
beam to hang the pots and pans from. Now all this is possible because
Harvester Homes will help you get the kitchen you want.
Skilled joiners hand craft the ledge and brace doors from selected
bead and butt pine boarding. Again finished in bees wax the doors
are hung and fastened with hand forged T– hinges and latches. These
are an important part of the convincing reproduction period look.
